Regarding Repositories
git init
git clone --bare <somerepo> myrepo.git
git clone <somepath>/myrepo.git

Working with files
git status
git add .
git commit -m "<some msg>"

Viewing the log
git log -40 --graph --oneline --decorate
gitk --all &

Working with branches
git checkout <somebranch>
git checkout -b <newbranch>
git branch -D <somebranch>
git rebase <anotherbranch>
git merge <somebranch>

Working with a central server
git fetch
git pull
git push origin <newbranch>

Working with a central server (deleting branches)
git push origin :<newbranch>
git remote prune
